Project Scope

The Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits and Arizona Grantmakers Forum, working under the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits, are seeking a marketing firm with extensive experience in rebranding companies that have gone through a merger; experience rebranding nonprofit or membership organizations is preferred. The selected firm will work closely with the Alliance’s Marketing Department and Leadership Team to provide a comprehensive recommendation for rebranding the organization. The selected firm will be given access to Alliance staff and board as needed during the course of the project. It is expected that the selected firm also will seek input from the Alliance’s members and key community leaders.

The rebranding effort will include a redesign of the Alliance’s current logo. It’s important to note that in addition to the main Alliance logo and identity, the Alliance also has separate logos for specific programs, including Arizona Grantmakers Forum, Arizona Early Childhood Funders Collaborative, Arizona Together for Impact Fund, Arizona Gives Day, Nonprofit Lifecycles, Business on Board, ONE, Engage Nonprofit Conference, Northern Nonprofit Summit, Southern Nonprofit Summit, and Social Return on Investment. The rebrand should not include changes to the Arizona Gives Day logo, but the proposal submitted may include, but is not required to include, suggestions on new logos for our other signature programs. However, any recommendations given to rebrand the Alliance will need to keep these elements in mind. The rebrand should also include a name change.

At the conclusion of the project, the selected firm will provide the Alliance with an executable brand package including detailed treatment of marketing materials (with graphic elements, fonts and color palettes), and a standards manual that will guide staff in seamlessly executing the new brand.

Ownership of Final Product/Intellectual Property

At the conclusion of the process, the ownership of the final product(s) will fall under the Alliance’s purview, but the marketing firm may use it as examples in their portfolios.

Assumptions and Agreements

The Alliance reserves the right to dismiss any proposal for any reason.

The proposal shall include portfolio examples (online links are acceptable) and references of businesses with which the firm has worked on similar assignments.
